About the role:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for high-performance applications. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless cloud integration and scalability.
- Cloud Architecture – Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud infrastructure.
- Cloud Automation – Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Migration & Deployment – Plan and execute cloud migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Security & Compliance – Implement security best practices, compliance frameworks, and cloud governance policies.
- Performance Optimization – Monitor cloud environments and optimize resources to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Solutions – Work with AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Disaster Recovery & Backup – Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Collaboration – Work closely with DevOps, security, and IT teams to enhance cloud capabilities.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience as a cloud engineer, architect, or similar role.
Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud with relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect).
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud networking.
Understanding of security frameworks, compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), and IAM best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
