About the role:
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable network infrastructures. Your key responsibilities include:
- Network Design & Implementation – Architect, configure, and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Network Security & Monitoring – Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Cloud & Hybrid Networking – Manage and integrate cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- LAN, WAN & Wireless Networking – Optimize performance and connectivity across local and wide area networks.
- VoIP & Communication Systems – Configure and manage VoIP systems for seamless enterprise communication.
- Documentation & Compliance – Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Collaboration with IT Teams – Work closely with cybersecurity, DevOps, and software development teams to support IT infrastructure.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in network engineering or administration.
Expertise in network protocols, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, and routing.
Proficiency in network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet) and firewalls.
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ (preferred).
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
